This Virtual PD session on 'How to be an Effective and Concise Communicator' will run for three hours.

We're lucky to have the individuals we do in facilities management. Adept, passionate, and skilled in both their abilities and team management, their influence on those they work with and the built environments they work with are obvious.

Whether you're in an established senior role, transitioning into communicative-intensive role, or keen to hone your ability to convey or associate, this session will be direct and display the core signals of great communications. Communicating is an essential part of career development as well as daily operations.

Utilising 'DiSC' based indicators - 'Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance' - this online event will be flexible in its understanding of the many types of communicators while signposting their objective commonalities.

Join us to hear insight on:

  • Motivational strategies
  • Understanding your own communication styles
  • Flexibility in understanding individuals
  • The importance of clarity
  • Succinctness
  • Messaging
  • Outlaying points of adherence
  • Managing your superiors

Testimony
'Henry'

“I thought I was pretty good at communicating with others. But I learned that I was okay and could be so much better.
Learning about my own style and how others communicate has helped me dramatically and made my life so much easier at work.
This is one of the best things I have ever learnt; you just don’t get taught this."
