FMA does not accept responsibility in the event that the website is unavailable to you due to any computer downtime, malfunction or such other event outside the control of FMA.

Registration

Whether you are a member of FMA or a non-member, you need to register in order to purchase products and services from this website. However, members may be entitled to receive discounts when purchasing and/or registering for products and services from the FMA website. Access to some areas of the FMA website may also be restricted to members ony and/or Facility Management Accreditation System candidates.

Password requirement

FMA members may obtain a password by logging into the FMA website and registering for a password or by contacting the FMA Office. Non-members are also able to obtain a password which can be used to login, update their details and register for events, but will not be able to access the members’ areas of the website. FMA may refuse to issue a password, in its due discretion, until such time as it has satisfied itself about the identity of the user and the ability of the user to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions.

Password security

You must keep your password confidential at all times. You must not allow any other person or company to watch you enter your password when accessing the FMA website or record your password in any manner that would indicate to any other person or company that it is the user's password. You must inform FMA as soon as possible if you become aware of misuse of your password or loss or theft of a record of the password, or if you suspect that the password has become known to another person or company. If you delay unreasonably in notifying FMA, you will be liable for your losses.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FMA, its employees, agents and consultants exclude all liability for any loss or damage claims and expenses including but not limited to legal costs, indirect special or consequential loss or damage arising out of the information on FMA website or to a third-party content. Where any law prohibits the exclusion of such liability, FMA limits its liability to the resupply of the information.

Variation of Terms of Use

FMA reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time and to notify you of such variation by any means it deems fit. Any variation shall become effective upon such notification.

 Membership Refund Policy

 Membership with the Facility Management Association of Australia Ltd (FMA Australia Ltd) belongs to the person or organisation approved by the association. By joining  as defined by the FMA Australia Ltd constitution and to follow the FMA Australia Ltd Code of Ethics in all my professional practices. I consent to FMA Australia Ltd storing the information provided above and using this information as defined by the Privacy Statement and understand that I will not be entitled to a refund,

in full or in part, of membership fees paid should I resign my membership prior to the expiration of the membership period.
