Dealing with Difficult People in the Workplace

ONLINE: Accepting an inevitably but often under-discussed part of working life, this course demonstrates clear and composed approaches to difficult conversations, ensuring emotions don't derail relationships.

This Virtual PD session on 'Dealing with Difficult People in the Workplace' will run for 90 minutes.

It is an inevitable part of our working life: encountering people with which we don't 'quite align.'

How we deal with the situations that arise from this has a major outcome on our wellbeing, both in and outside of work.

This session will continue our theme on interpersonal and intrapersonal development. The course will accept the inevitability of challenging, awkward, and emotional encounters, opening a realistic and honest dialogue on the processes involved in overcoming these problems in a successful manner.

Across the hour-and-a-half, you'll learn operations for preparing for situations (including those unforeseen), processes post-incident or conversation, and the importance of proactive actions and behaviours to limit destructive or negative interactions and situations. Applicable to those at all levels of the industry and regardless of individual personality, this an essential event that will not only improve your working interactions but its outcomes while also equipping you with information to pass on.

Where: Zoom
When: Tuesday 18 June 2024 1.30pm - 3.00pm (AEST)
Course fee (GST Inclusive): Members $130 / Non-members $176
