Board of Directors
The Association is governed by a Board of Directors currently made up of eight directors. Of these, six are elected and two are appointed. The term of a directorship is for (up to) two years.
Elected Board Members:
A Call for Nominations is issued to the membership around September each year when those directors whose term has expired create vacating positions for open elections.
Appointed Board Members:
Positions are nominated by directors and ratified by a majority vote of the Board. When filling the role of an appointed director, the Board uses a skill-based assessment to ascertain the most appropriate appointments to the vacant director positions.
