How Toilets Could Be Impacting Women in Construction

A lack of access to adequate toilets and changing facilities is one of the main reasons women are leaving the trades sector, a report from Tradeswomen Australia has found.

With women making up just 3 to 4% of tradespeople, issues like this are creating discomfort in the traditionally male dominated work space, with issues around appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and personal hygiene a major unseen issue in the sector.
