Professional Development & Training

Learning is a key part of growing a strong facilities management profession. Throughout the year, the FMA works with industry partners to develop and deliver a range of professional development and training opportunities for facilities management professionals at every stage of their career.

Our programs are designed to support practical learning, share industry best practice, and help you build the skills needed to navigate the evolving FM landscape.

We offer a mix of online and in-person training, covering technical knowledge, emerging industry issues, and practical tools you can apply in your day-to-day role.

Many of our courses can also be customised for organisations, incorporating your policies, processes, and real-world case studies to strengthen your team's capability and confidence.

Courses We Offer

Below are some of the professional development opportunities regularly delivered by FMA, these are typically held throughout the year and focus on specific industry topics, emerging challenges, and practical solutions. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while connecting with peers across the facilities management community.
