Special Interest Group

The Building Information Modelling in Facilities Management (BIM-FM) Portfolio Group was established in November 2015  to provide information leadership in the application of Building Information Modeling in the context of facilities management.   It was later renamed the Digital Technology & Information Special Interest Group.  

The Group aims to increase FMA Member engagement on BIM-FM, provide relevant input to the industry position on the use of BIM in facilities management, and provide more detailed feedback to requests made of the Association on technical knowledge.

The Terms of Reference outline the objectives, responsibilities and operation of the Group.
