What the FMA does

The Facility Management Association represents professionals, teams and organisations involved in the strategic and operational management of facilities in both the public and private sectors throughout Australia, as well as those organisations that support the industry through the provision of products and services.

By taking a leading advocacy role on behalf of its members, the FMA:

  • represents the interests of the profession and industry to government and regulatory bodies
  • encourages the development of education and skill development in facilities management
  • promotes the facility management profession to increase understanding of this important area within both the business and wider communities.
