Portfolio groups nomination form

Portfolio groups allow members to have input into and help drive the four key areas of member benefit:

  • Advocacy: Assists in the advocacy activities of the FMA, including involvement with all levels of government and industry efforts to develop and strengthen facilities management in Australia
  • BIM-FM: Provides relevant input to the industry position on use of BIM in facilities management and develops the body of technical information to be made available to the industry
  • Diversity: Provides a mechanism to specifically address a range of imbalances within the facilities management industry, such as those relating to gender and indigenous diversity.
  • Education and Training: Supports the planning and operation of education and training, and the alignment of education and training with wider industry and government standards
  • Knowledge: Assists the research and communication activities of the FMA in developing a bigger, broader and more meaningful source of knowledge that supports facilities management professionals in Australia
  • Marketing & Membership: Provides strategic oversight and planning for current and future membership, as well as the alignment of membership structures with wider industry standards and member expectation.
