Portfolio groups allow members to have input into and help drive key areas of member benefit.
Unlike branch committees, the portfolio groups have a national focus that is not restricted by geographical regions of representation. They assist in steering actions and undertaking work that aligns with the strategic goals of FMA.
The groups are made up of (up to) 15 members. Meetings are generally undertaken via teleconference (although Melbourne based participants may attend National office).
The portfolio groups do not have an executive committee structure as National office undertakes the majority of secretariat functions.
The Terms of Reference outline the objectives, responsibilities and operation of each group.
