The Facility Management Association (FMA) is proud to welcome GJK Facility Services as its first Platinum Partner. The partnership with GJK will help sustain the Association’s important work in the areas of advocacy, knowledge and professional development.

From its beginnings as a family-owned commercial cleaning business in 1985, GJK has grown into a leading provider of facility services, with more than 2500 employers throughout Australia.

GJK has supported the FMA for the better part of 20 years. The partnership has evolved during this period, with GJK’s ongoing representation and commitment to the industry through participation at industry forums, local committees and the broader FMA Board.

“GJK is delighted to be the inaugural Platinum Partner of the FMA,” said GJK Executive Chairman and CEO Steve Taylor. “As the leading industry body, FMA has delivered innovative and collaborative outcomes that continue to enhance the reputation of facilities management in Australia, and GJK is proud to be associated with such an industrious organisation.”

“We are excited to welcome GJK as Platinum Partner,” said FMA Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Burt. “GJK is an industry leader that shares many of the Association’s values, including our commitment to environmental sustainability and diversity.”

For the past eight years, GJK has sponsored the FM Industry Award for Sustainability & Environmental Impact. In 2017 the company, through a joint venture partnership, helped launched GJK Indigenous Solutions – now one of Australia’s most respected employers of Aboriginal people in the industry.

At Ideaction.2019 in June, GJK announced an additional scholarship for the runner-up of the FMA’s first Indigenous Scholarship.
