19 November 2017FM Industry Award Winner Announcement!
Over 500 facilities management professionals came together last night at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne to celebrate the finalists and winners of the FM Industry Awards for Excellence.
Once again, the Awards were presented by the Facility Management Association of Australia and took place at the beautiful Grand Hyatt, where winners and finalists were recognised across 10 categories of excellence.
Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Burt says “we knew it would be a significant event based on the interest very early on, but we could not prepare ourselves for the success on the night”.
It was an early sell-out event, which highlights its rapidly escalating importance as both a celebration of the industry and as a valuable way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the designers, creators and managers of the built environment.
FMA Chairperson Kristiana Greenwood says “without a doubt the most prestigious industry event in facilities management – a real opportunity to recognise excellence and celebrate the success in the industry. An outstanding event that just continues to get bigger and better every year".
A special announcement saw the induction of Steve Taylor as the Association’s newest life member. A milestone for the Association and recognition of the passion, drive and commitment he has displayed over an almost twenty-year membership.
FMA charity partner, The Kids' Cancer Project, gave away some great prizes in the charity raffle. The raffle saw attendees digging deep for kids’ cancer and means that $10,000 was raised to go towards finding a cure for childhood cancer.
