The legislative framework within which facilities managers operate is continually changing. Compliance with legislation and regulations that affect how a building is managed, operated and maintained is a critical to all stakeholders.
When queries regarding the introduction and implementation of legislation and regulations are received by the FMA, assistance is provided to source the relevant information. Where it is not available and/or the wider industry requires further information that identifies how the legislation or regulation affects them, the FMA develops legislative and regulatory briefings.
