The Diploma of Facilities Management is an online course that takes approximately two years to complete and is fully endorsed by the Facilities Management Association of Australia. The course is aimed at participants who have facilities management experience or an equivalent background and want to achieve formal recognition through an educational qualification.

It is comprised of units, covering the latest industry requirements in workplace safety, the management of environmental sustainability and life cycle services of a facility, managing facility maintenance plans and coordinating the fit, construction or renovation of a facility.


Diploma in Property Services (Asset and Facilities Management) 

RMIT, Victoria

The Diploma in Property Services (Asset and Facilities Management);is aimed at participants who have approximately four plus years of facilities management experience and is either working in a senior role (supervisor/manager) or have the intention of progressing to this level. It covers key elements and principles including, managing financial and operational plans, sustainability, asset maintenance and management plans, risk management and work place safety.

The Diploma of Property Services (Asset and Facility Management) is aligned to the role of facilities managers who have relevant facilities management experience, or managers in associated disciplines. The program is ideally suited to managers responsible for an in-house team of people and/or external service providers. They will be looking to extend their competence in the module subject areas and working towards the diploma qualification.

This qualification is delivered on-line for individuals and through blended learning for corporate in-house teams in Australia and overseas.
