Lifelong learning and skills development is now a given across the Australian workforce.
Facilities management is no different. It is constantly evolving and as an industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, requiring ever increasing numbers of well trained and highly skilled professionals to ensure our built environments keep pace with the challenges that changes in design, energy efficiency, technology and community expectations are demanding.
The FMA is currently working with its members and industry stakeholders to establish a clearly articulated careers and education pathway and recognised career levels. FMA also provides support through PD seminars, training workshops and the Diploma of Facilities Management.
