Join the FMA WA to hear about the unique challenges the WAAPA Facilities Management team experience and how they overcome them with an innovative approach. This walking tour provides a hands-on experience to assist you in applying new techniques in your own workplace. See firsthand the dance studios, theatres and Spiegeltent (mirror tent), and how the facilities team manages and maintains lighting galleries, fly systems and cutting-edge AV systems. Experience and understand what is delivered by teaching and facilities staff to ensure a first-class customer service experience is provided in a dynamic and challenging environment. Hear how the facility management team has responded to some unique challenges.
The site tour will conclude with the opportunity to connect with other FM professionals during refreshments in the Edith Spiegeltent WAAPA which was established in 1980. Learn about the history and the challenges that come with the buildings.
