Director, Infrastruture and Indigenous Planning, Department of Infarstructure and Planning, Queensland.

Previously Director of Planning, Urban Land Development Authority in Queensland and Director, Smart Planning Solutions and Strategic projects with the Department of Infrastructure and Planning.

In his role, Andrew combines strategic policy and planning with hands on project work, including the integration of sustainability outcomes through good urban and facility planning and long term facility management, influencing the achievement of sustainability outcomes in the broader built environment.

Andrew’s previous management roles have been in urban planning, facility and asset management policy and operations in the Departments of Treasury, Health and Public Works. Andrew was also Project Leader for the whole-of-government review of asset management.

Andrew has lectured for seven years in facilities management subjects with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Kowloon and has presented numerous papers at international forums. He has completed a Bachelor of Business (Government) (Professional Accounting) and a Masters degree in Facilities Management.

Director, Commercial and Facilities, Australian Sports Commission (ASC). Member of the ASC Executive with responsibility for leadership, strategic planning and management of a range of capabilities including FM services and commercial operations. A civil engineer by professional qualification.

Prior to working at the ASC, Steve gained extensive experience in facilities management across a wide range of organisations including the Australian Army Engineers - Defence, Department of Administrative Services, the Department of Finance and Administration, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Multiplex.

Kristiana Greenwood is a founder of FM Innovations Pty Ltd. She has over 20 years business and marketing management experience and has worked in the UK, Italy, South Africa, France and Luxembourg. Born in England and educated in Zimbabwe and Italy, Kris speaks three languages: English, French and Italian. In 1996 she became involved in research within the FM industry and has since worked closely with many corporate and government departments, advising on FM solutions to address the many complex facets of facilities management. Kris has recently completed a three year term as the Victorian Branch Chair of FMA Australia.

Mr Chris Hunt, Director

Regional Director, Integrated Facilities Management, Jones Lang LaSalle.

Chris is responsible for Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) throughout Australia and New Zealand for Jones Lang LaSalle, as part of the Asia Pacific IFM executive team. Previously responsible for the IFM business in India, he returned to Sydney in 2008 from his previous role with Jones Lang LaSalle based in New Delhi.

Originally a trade apprentice and then a Mechanical Engineer with the UK Ministry of Defence, Chris spent 10 years with the IBM UK Property Management Division. He has more than 25 years of Facilities Management experience having lived and worked in the UK, Asia, Australia and India.

In 2004 Chris was appointed by the former Australian Government (the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources), to participate in the Facilities Management Action Agenda, as part of the Strategic Industry Leaders Group as both a recognised Industry Leader and Chairman of the Education and Training Working Group.

He has a specific interest in leading and developing new talent within the FM Services industry and also retains a keen interest in the business continuity aspects of managing Mission Critical Environments.

Mr David Duncan, Company Secretary and CEO

Over 20 years experience at CEO level gained from a broad range of organisations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning (UNE) with an MBA from the University of Adelaide. Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of both the Planning Institute of Australia and Australian Institute of Management.

Meeting Dates

The FMA Australia Board meets six times a year, usually on the last Wednesday of every second month.
