Vocational Graduate Certificate in Energy Efficiency for Facility Managers
The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Energy Efficiency for Facility Managers starting in July is a new course being rolled out in conjunction with AIRAH and is a specialised yet practical course that will give facility managers a strong grounding in where energy is consumed in buildings and teach you how to measure, monitor and analyse energy use. New Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and Facility Management Professional (FMP) Programs
Following a comprehensive review of the FMA Australia Accreditation System (FMAS) as well as consideration of other alternatives over a six month period, the board of directors at its meeting held in late November 2008, resolved that the FMAS be replaced with the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and Facility Management Professional (FMP) credentialing programs offered by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
