SB08 Early Bird Registration closing date - 30 May 2008
Due to the high number of papers received - and the rigorous review process applied to the submissions - the early bird registration closing will now be on 30 May 2008. Review decisions will be sent out in the next few weeks.
Please remember to tick your organisation in the list of auspicing societies to enable you to take advantage of the discounted registration fee and for your organisation to be entitled to rebates under the auspicing society agreement with SB08.
Keynote Speakers
Prof. Bill Rees - best known as the originator of the ‘ecological footprint analysis’ concept, Prof Rees is a professor at the University of British Columbia.
Ms Rosario Marin - A Cabinet member of the State Government of California – and formerly the 41st Treasurer of the United States from 2001 to 2003 under President G.W. Bush – Ms Marin now chairs Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Green Action Team which is implementing a policy and action agenda aimed at ‘greening’ the State.
Mr Douglas Durst - head of The Durst Organization, which is building the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park – the most environmentally advanced office tower in the world. Mr Durst is one of New York City's most respected real estate owners and developers, and one of the pioneers of the Green Building Movement.
